This bone modelling tool is ideal for modelling and cupping/frilling petals when making sugar flowers. The curved edges make it perfect for thinning, smoothing and frilling the edges of leaves and petals to provide a more realsitic and professional-looking finish!
This tool also comes in handy for other projects, e.g. shaping the finer details on cake figures and toppers.
All PME modelling tools are ideal for use with a wide range of edible materials such as sugar paste, petal paste, marzipan, Mexican paste etc.
To thin and frill petals and leaves; place the shaped paste onto a foam pad and using the ball toll, positioned over the edge of the paste, slide the tool back and forwards to thin and shape as required.
