British Royal Icing Sugar 500g

Silver Spoon have added dried egg whites to their Royal Icing Sugar recipe to give a traditional hard finish. It's super ideal for piping and creating soft peaks, decorating and dusting.
Method:
1. Put 35ml of the water into a deep bowl and carefully add the royal icing sugar.
2. Start mixing slowly and then gradually increase to a higher speed, adding the remaining water until you reach the desired consistency. Beat until the icing stands in soft peaks.
3. Apply the icing to your cake in a thick layer, using a palette knife and leave to harden over night in a cool dry place.
4. This will make enough to ice an 8" cake. Royal icing is also great for cupcakes, biscuits and finger buns.
