With the Hybrid Sparkle range, you get that rare combination of intense colour and bright sparkle that can only usually be found in non-edible dusts. With this range, however, you can get the deepest shades and the most vibrant finishes with an added glitzy sparkle.

The Sparkle Dust offers an almost metallic finish that twinkles in the light and draws serious attention to your cakes.  It offers great coverage and a flawless professional finish that is so sought after by expert bakers, yet it will also make any novice decorator’s work stand out from the crowd.

Another great feature is colouring pearls. If you have white pearls that you want to give a colourful sparkling finish, just wet the pearls with a little water, place them into a bag with a small sprinkling of Sparkle Dust, and roll them in the bag until they are covered. Just like larger cake decorations you’ll get great coverage and won’t have to buy pearls in all different colours.

The Hybrid Sparkle Dusts are very easy to use and can be dry brushed on, or mixed with rejuvenator spirit, dipping solution or lemon extract to form an edible paint. You can also mix it with piping gel for the added colour and sparkle as well as sugar water to form an airbrush colour, although we strongly advise cleaning your airbrush thoroughly before and after doing this as the glitter particles may occasionally cause your airbrush pen to clog.

The sparkle dusts can also be used on chocolate as well as other edible decorating mediums such as modelling paste, florist paste, fondant/sugarpaste and marzipan.
